The new 2025 Ford Expedition is the revamped version of the previous generation model. The brand finally decided to give a new, fresh look to its largest SUV in the lineup. The last time the SUV was introduced with an all-new design and dimensions was seven years ago and the same design stance has been equipped with the 2024 generation model. The 2025 Ford Expedition will produce about 400 HP

When the Ford Expedition was launched in late 1997, Bronco was still the biggest hit for the Blue Oval. However, the brand saw that the Bronco was just an SUV with no external engine boost and additional power and also had an average seat capacity. So the brand decided to replace the existing Bronco models with an all-new, larger SUV model, the Expedition. With the launch of this, the vehicle gave a close call against the Chevrolet Tahoe and the GMC Yukon.

According to Edmunds, the 2025 Ford Expedition will be powered by a 3.5L Twin-turbo V6 engine that will generate about 400 HP and 480 lb-ft torque. This engine will also be available with high-output EcoBoost, which will produce about 440 HP and 510 lb-ft of maximum torque. With a turbocharged engine, the SUV will be impaired with a 10-speed automatic transmission system with no manual option available for consumers.

The new Expedition has to offer the standard as well as long-wheelbase Max variant to its consumers so that they can get more of its odyssey from drive and comfort. With a single-engine option available, the SUV also offers an option to choose from the rear or the four-wheel-drivetrain. The standard V6 engine is available with all the models, but only the Tremor trim level comes with a high-output EcoBoost engine as standard with many off-roading modes induced with luxury meets.

With a modern luxury stance, the 2025 Ford Expedition comes with a new split tailgate

When it comes to the design of the SUV, the brand tries to accommodate everything from interior to exterior. The interior of the Expedition follows the improved pathway when compared with lots of previous-generation models. The base model Active amplifies with a modern, tangent minimalistic look, whereas the top-of-the-line Platinum offers rich leather upholstery with modern massaging seats in the front row. All the models share the same level of entertainment nuances with an all-new 24.0-inch dashboard display, which serves both as an instrument cluster and infotainment amenities.

Considering the exterior of the vehicle, it is the first time that Ford has introduced an all-new split tailgate in the lineup. This split tailgate comes with a large lid that prevents the items from rolling. Both the standard and the long-wheelbase Max models have spacious cabins along with a maximum towing capacity of 9600 pounds. While the standard model has about 9,000 pounds of capacity.

The base model Active might be priced at $62,000 for the 2025 season and will range up to $83,000 for the top-of-the-line Platinum trim level. The car also comes with 7 different exterior trim colors ranging from Agate Black Metallic, Dark Matter Metallic, Glacier Grey Metallic, Oxford White, Space Silver, Star White Metallic Tri-coat, and Stone Blue, with 2 interior edition colors like Mojave Dusk and Salt Crystal Grey.
