For the first time, Qatar will host this prestigious event from 7 October to 14 October 2023. The show will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre. The 8 exotic cars showcased in Qatar at the Geneva International Motor Show

In 2021, Qatar signed a 10-year agreement with the Geneva Motor Show organizers to host the event every two years starting from 2022. As a result, Qatar has been chosen to host the event in 2023. This will bring the luxury of high-speed automobiles to the Middle East, showcasing some of the rarest car collections from the Geneva International Show this year.

The most prominent cars displayed this year at the motor show are vintage cars, classic cars, Le Mans cars, Future EVs, and the F1 cars. Let us read a few of them in detail.

1. 1920 Ballot 3/8 Grand Prix LC

This car is known as one of the greatest automotive machines that the world will ever know. The Ballot Automotive was founded by the Ernest Ballot in the year 1911. This is the first car that won the first-ever Italian Grand Prix. In 1919 Ernest Ballot hired an ex-Peugeot engineer named Ernest Henry who helped him to make this car out of scratch. This car won its maiden win in the 1921 Italian Grand Prix in Brescia. It is so special and unique that it also won the ‘Best Car Show’ award at the Angouleme Concours d’Elegance in France.

2. 1949 Bentley Mark VI 4 Touring Saloon

This car is a famous vehicle that was once used by the Maharaja of Mysore in ancient India. The 1949 Mark VI 4 was Bentley’s first four-door sport touring car produced after the war. This car is well-known for both its appearance and its nickname. It is commonly referred to as the “Rhubarb & Custard” car from the 19th century. The durability was strong as whole body panels were made up of pure steel. Later on, a few Mark VI 4 car designs were revoked or modified to provide the performance and efficiency of the car.

3. Lamborghini Revuelto

Lamborghini Revuelto is the first mid-engine plug-in hybrid sports car developed by the Raging Bull. The car was officially launched on March 29, 2023. This car is a successor to its iconic vehicle Aventador. The Revuelto is made entirely of carbon fibre so the weight distribution of the car is less than the actual weight of the Aventador. It offers a new 6.5L V12 engine that generates a maximum power of 1001 and 535 lb-ft of torque.

4. Audi F1 2026 Concept Car

From the world of motorsports, Audi also showcased its F1 concept car at the Geneva International Motor Show in Qatar. The German Four Rings have decided to join the Formula 1 racing league as the engine supplier supplier from the 2026 season. Audi Sports chairman Markus Duesmann has recently shared the news that the brand will also represent itself as an F1 team in 2026 on the grid.

Delage is the French automaker that manufactures factory-built LMP2 concept cars to be raced in Le Mans. Delage unveils its new Le Mans car LMP2 at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2023. This car is to be prepared so that it can race in the 2023 season of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It offers a 4.2L V8 engine which is capable of producing 560 of maximum power.
