According to the news, Mada 9 has claimed to be redesigned, developed, and built entirely in Afghanistan. The all-new Simurgh is a ritzy supercar that has grabbed everyone’s attention at the Auto Show. At first, the Simurgh slightly resembles the Batmobile. Yes, the famous Batman car from the Batman movie franchise. The aerodynamics of this car look more streamlined from the rear. The body has nice- sharp edges for aero-resistance and body coated in black.
Covered in all-black-themed, the supercar claims to be made by 30 Afghan engineers who all work for the Kabul-based car design studio named Entop and the engine of the car is manufactured by the Afghanistan Technical Vocational Institute (AVTI). This supercar is the result of the collaboration of Entop and AVTI engineers.

The all-new Simurgh is the first endemic supercar from Afghan nations
This supercar is one of the biggest achievements for nations like Afghanistan as a home ground small-scale car studio can showcase its self-manufactured vehicle at such a global event. The Geneva Auto Show is one of the most prestigious auto events on this planet earth. Although the look and chassis of the car share with the Mada 9. But what makes it different from the previous car? Well, it’s a newly revamped design and aerodynamics. The engine configuration also looks superior to the design. The Simurgh offers a 1.8L DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine which is borrowed from the Toyota Automotive.
This same engine is used in the 2004 Generation Totoya Corolla Sedan. That car was the most selling sedan car in the world. This is not something new that car manufacturers borrow engines from other brands. This process can be seen in the past with Toyota. Toyota’s engines are used in various car models. Their engine is the most reliable and can be tuned in various manners according to the performance of the car. However, the drivetrain and the additional trim package have not been released by the manufacturer itself.

This supercar, named Simurgh, is equipped with a 1.8L Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) 16-valve 4-cylinder petrol engine provided by Toyota Industries as an engine supplier. There are also some notable features including LED headlamps, taillights, black alloy wheels, and a rear diffuser. The price for this vehicle has not been revealed yet.
This car offers a two-seater and is just a prototype. The actual figures can’t be extracted as the vehicle is not driven yet. The Simurgh will put a new mark on the design and development of the car. As Entop is not been a usual automaker still representing its first car at such a prestigious event may enhance other supercar players like Ferrari, and Lamborghini to build the competition.
