2026 Honda 0 Revealed at CES 2025 As EV Prototypes

Honda Motor Corporation has just given us a glimpse of the ongoing future of electric vehicles. With its promising design and development, Honda has turned down the cards as the company has revealed its two electric prototypes at CES 2025. The all-new 2026 Honda 0 Saloon and the Honda 0 SUV prototype are the next-gen EVs that will be sold in 2026. The brand has also revealed a new technology known as the ASIMO OS, which will be responsible for the mobility experience of these two vehicles.

The Honda O series will represent the brand’s latest steps in developing electric vehicles. The Honda 0 Saloon will be an electric sedan featuring its space hub design, whereas the Honda 0 SUV will pave the pathway for future electric SUVs. Let us first glimpse these two modern vehicles and how they will stand out against their competitors in the real world.

The first look at the 2026 Honda 0 Saloon Prototype

The 2026 Honda 0 Saloon is one of the finest sedans that reminds the previous generations of Civic Type R. The design elements look similar to the 2024 concept model, which was earlier released by the automaker. When looking at first sight, the car resonates with the space hub design with the slanting slope in the front, which gives a bold look. The front end of the car features bold headlights with a retracting cover. Overall, the design is neat and clean and only a few will like its wedge-shaped silhouette that feels too outpaced.

While getting behind the wheel, the driver must feel like sitting in a spaceship rather than sitting inside a car. With its streamlined, snugged body, the alternate sides of the car are sleek with symmetrical bylines. These symmetrical lines create a thick D-pillar while covering the larger area through the side windows. When the doors are opened to get inside a car, the yoke-style steering wheel rotates so that a driver can make his way behind the wheel. The car will be configured with every safety standard and function like the side cameras will be placed on side mirrors as in the previous Honda generation cars.

Then comes the other electric prototype vehicle, the 2026 Honda 0 SUV. The Honda 0 SUV is based on the same platform as that of the Honda 0 sedan. With its sleek, streamlined design, the SUV looks more realistic than the sedan. The brand tried to make it bulkier so that it showcases its real sporty and dynamic SUV stance. The front of the car looks more refined with a steep and low roofline windshield that somehow resembles the coupe-like appearance. While looking from the top view, the car is covered with a permanent black roof panel that would give a two-tone aesthetic look to the car.

At the rear, the car has U-shaped taillights that connect through chopper-style running day lights, which resembles the Kammback styling, which was popular in the 70s and the 80s. The most sophisticated feature of the SUV is that the interior looks sportier and cleaner than the Honda 0 sedan. The seats are broad, with much more comfortable upholstery. The SUV has two side cameras, which would help the car with navigation. The digital dashboard is present in the cabin for drivers to analyze the driving modes and statistics of the car.

Both the Honda 0 sedan and Honda 0 SUV will be available as rear-wheel-drive as a standard variant. But an option for the all-wheel-drive may also be available for the customers. The car will have a Honda-developed in-house electric motor, which will be able to generate 241 HP on a single charge.
